Fantastic Fluorescence - The Many Uses of a UV Torch
Couldn't load pickup availability
Chilled Education’s many resources include the popular Glo Germ Handwash Training Kit. The kits use ultraviolet (UV) torches and UV reflective gel to reveal where microorganisms gather on the skin, under nails and in the creases on the hands, showing how well, or badly, hands have been washed.
But the UV torch is useful for many more purposes. From investigating the fluorescent qualities of tonic water, honey and ketchup to seeking out unwanted fluids in the bathroom these torches are invaluable for sparking curiosity.
In this free download there are more extended activities to explore Fluorescence with the torches available for £10 from the CEd shop. Don’t forget to download the Safety Data Sheet.
Your UV torch reveals a whole new world! As you can read about here…….
